Casa Fernandez Tobacco Haven 30th Anv Cigar Review – This 7×52 stick features a dusty brown oily satin firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a bit of a snug draw but good medium-full bodied smoke output showing a deep straight tobacco core with a big pepper and spice kick that builds on the finish. The first third burns perfectly with a better draw adding a dark coffee with a touch of creme and vanilla sweetness. The pepper is still there especially on the retrohale but the spice dies down with the finish lasting to the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 50 minutes with flavors changing very little. The sweetness is now much deeper like a dark honey, the pepper is almost gone and there is a touch of strength coming in. Ending at 1:20 it drops the sweetness and pepper just going to a dark coffee and plain tobacco.
