Alec Bradley Spirit of Cuba Torpedo Cigar Review – This 6 1/8×52 stick features a lightly packed lumpy rustic wrapper with discolorations, small veins, tight invisible seams, an oily soft feel and wet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied flavors of a deep earth, black pepper with out the spice, straight tobacco and a long finish that does add a touch of heat and bitterness. The first third drops the bitterness but otherwise stays the same. Burn is so-so with one side that needs a touchup and requiring double puffs to get good smoke. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes needing another touchup with flavors unchanged while body comes up to medium-full. Ending at 1 hour the last third remained the same.
