Marrero Tico Pigtail Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×52 stick features a dark brown butter soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, semi-closed foot, large double pigtail cap slightly soft even pack and sweet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a good draw with mild soft smoke output showing flavors of a sweet bread quickly followed by a smooth straight tobacco through the long finish. The first third drops the bread going to a plainer sweet tobacco and wood keeping the long smooth finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the ash drops in a solid chunk with perfect performance. Body is up to a mild-medium dropping the bread and the sweetness goes to a caramel. Ending at 50 minutes to a cool nub, the last third shows no further changes.
