Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva #55 Cigar Review
This 6×55 torpedo stick features a dark chocolate, rock hard toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a slight oil sheen and mild tobacco and cedar aroma, no doubt due to the sleeve. First light reveals a great draw after 4 cuts making it a toro. Flavors are mild-medium with a super slick soft tobacco, natural sweetness and long thick finish. The first third develops steadily to a medium body showing flavors of a thick oily sweet cedar with just a touch of pepper zing through the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes, shifting flavors almost completely. The sweetness and cedar are gone, replaced by a deep smooth oily earth and pepper all through the finish to the next draw. Ending at 1:10 the last third from the band back opened up the draw slightly going to a medium-full body bringing in a nice rich cocoa adding to the mix. Thank you very much to viewer Mike for sending this for review – sorry I said Mark in the vid, I just realized it!
