Man O’ War Ltd. Edition Orange County Choppers OCC Cigar Review
This 6.5×52 stick features a very dark chocolate almost black wrapper with a firm even pack, slick oily toothy feel, small veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and very rich hay and chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick rich smoke showing a sweet tobacco and earth with a zingy pronounced pepper through the smooth finish. The first third burns very well keeping the perfect construction, showing flavors of a smooth, creamy sweet earth and caramel through the finish, while the pepper dies way down just leaving a tiny zing. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes holding the ash in a solid chunk, continuing the great performance. Flavors are pretty much the same with the earth going more towards a plain tobacco but still creamy and smooth with the subtle sweetness on the draw and caramel just in to the finish. The pepper has gone quite light with a smoky smooth aftertaste. Ending at 1:15 the last third switches it up adding a dried fruit, touch of cinnamon and bigger cream flavor to the mix. Body stays at medium-full while a medium strength creeps in for the last 15 minutes. Thank you to Morgan for trading with me and providing this stick!
