Arturo Fuente Anejo Reserva #48 Cigar Review
This 7×48 stick features a cedar sleeve covering a dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper with a slightly toothy oily satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and sweet cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied thick smoke showing flavors of a sweet creamy cedar and milk chocolate with a smooth short finish. The first third burns perfectly putting off thick rich smoke holding the same medium bodied sweet cedar core while the chocolate notes get deeper toward an earthiness. The finish is growing longer, still very rich. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 45 minutes, the cedar drops off, body is up to medium-full while the strength is coming in now at mild-medium and the finish builds a zesty pepper. Ending at 1:20 minutes the last third ramped the strength up near full while the body came down to a medium, holding the same flavors.
