Tailored By Alec Bradley Habano Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×52 stick features a firmly packed dark chocolate wrapper with a splotchy mottled appearance, oily toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and faint earthy aroma. First light reveals a medium body, great draw and flavors of a nutmeg, allspice and sweet raisin with a pepper through the finish. The first third burns wonky needing a big touchup, while flavors mellow quite a bit. The special flavors drop going to just a smooth medium bodied slightly sweet earth with a tiny pepper kick on the short clean finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 20 minutes flavors are down to mild-medium giving just a soft sweet earth with a smooth finish. Ending at 35 minutes the last third showed no change.
