Don Benigno Petit Robusto Cigar Review
This 4×50 stick features a lightly packed dark brown dry slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, sloppy double cap and mild wood and pepper aroma. First light reveals a great draw with thick rich medium-full oily smoke showing a big musty dry tobacco and long finish. The first third stays pretty much the same just adding a smooth spicy heat to the long finish with a pepper zing. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes burn has slowed down although the whole cigar is warm and mushy giving very hot smoke. Flavors take on a deep nut and caramel like sweetness mostly through the finish. Ending at 50 minutes where it got too hot for my taste the last bit showed no further changes. Thank you very much to Don Benigno Cigars for providing this for review!
