Punch Uppercut Robusto Cigar Review
This 5.2×50 stick features a dark brown, slightly oily and firm wrapper with small veins, tight seams, double cap and rich sweet pepper and tobacco aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with good medium bodied smoke output showing flavors of a damp musty earth and a short clean finish. The first third opens the draw slightly to a perfect level putting off very good amounts of smoke. Flavors add a meaty savoriness with a thicker mouth feel, staying at a medium body but making the finish longer with an almost metallic pepper and spice zing. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes, the ash holds on for the first third, performance and construction is great and flavors are about the same just pulling the savory bits through the longer finish. Ending at 1:15 the last third brought up a deep smooth earth to the mix and dropped all the pepper zing and spice.
