This 5.25×50 box pressed cigar features an almost black, thin fragile wrapper with a slight tooth, firm dry feel, minimal veins, tight seams, single cap and faint musty tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with voluminous rich thick smoke output showing medium-full bodied flavors of a smooth, slightly musty sweet tobacco with a bit of pepper joining the long finish. The first third develops much the same, adding a sweet espresso to the draw while the finish remains long but takes on a lightness with a slight pepper zing and oily heat on the lips. Burn is ok, going a bit wonky on one side. 25 minutes in starting the 2nd third, the burn self-corrects, flavors are the same holding at medium-full while the strength ramps up nearly matching at a solid medium. Starting the last third 45 minutes in I had to give it a touchup, flavors remain consistent but still fairly complex and strength is still at a very tolerable medium. Ending at 1:10 the last bit shifted to a general nuttiness as the temp increased. Thank you very much to viewer Kevin Walsh for sending me this for review!
