This 7×54 box pressed torpedo features a dark brown slightly red hued wrapper with a soft satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, an even squishy pack and a rich manure and wood aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich plentiful medium bodied smoke output showing flavors on a deep tobacco, earth and pepper with a long finish. The first third develops much the same just going to a softer mellow version of the same flavors, opening the draw slightly on the loose side. Hitting the 1/2 way point 40 minutes in with no flavor changes, the draw firmed up to normal and the ash dropped cleanly at the end of the first third. Finishing out at 1:15 the last third only had a slight shift, going to a thicker creamier textured body and ramping up the strength just a bit to be noticeable. Thank you very much to Cuenca Cigars for sending this sample in for review!
