Stradivarius Churchill Cigar Review

This 7.5×49 stick features a light tan smooth oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, form even pack and rich peppery cedar aroma, no doubt helped by it’s cedar coffin. This is a $35+ cigar with a claim to fame of using a 15 year old aged wrapper leaf. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with good smoke output showing mild sweet cedar flavors with a very short clean woody finish. The first third burns perfectly and very slowly, taking 25 minutes to pass the first inch with mild-medium flavors of a slightly sweet and smooth cedar and pepper on the draw with a pepper and woody finish which has grown longer. 45 minutes in just finishing the first third, flavors ramp up to medium body and are joined by a slick creamy nuttiness through the draw and the finish carries over the cream and thicker mouth feel. Hitting the 1/2 way point over an hour in, flavors get more robust with a creamy texture and nuttiness taking over on the draw while the cedar and pepper die way down especially on the finish. Ending at 1:45 where it got too warm for my taste the only change has been a good bit of strength kick from the band point back.
