Thurman Thomas Hall Of Fame Maduro Toro Cigar Review
This 6×52 stick features a very dark almost black, firm slightly toothy wrapper with a slight oil sheen, double cap, a couple minor veins, tight seams and slight chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good medium bodied thick smoke production, showing flavors of a dry cocoa on the draw and a slightly peppery earthiness through the long finish. The first third develops to a sweeter chocolate with a bit of cinnamon zing that quickly fades through the short clean finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point 25 minutes in, the 2nd half slowly morphs to include a creamy chocolate and coffee that lingers through the now longer finish with a bit of spice on the tongue. Ending at 55 minutes the last third ramps up to a medium-full body with a slightly sweet creamy coffee and milk chocolate followed by an oily, smooth cocoa finish that makes your mouth water.
