Dunhill Aged Reserva Especial 2003 Robusto Grande Cigar Review
This 5.5×54 stick features a very smooth tan wrapper with a buttery texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, even slightly spongy pack and rich soapy hay aroma. First light reveals a very nice draw with good medium-full bodied smoke output showing a slightly grassy smooth and oily tobacco on the draw with a silky short finish. The first third quickly shifts to a smooth, mellow creamy coffee and nut combo, with a lengthening finish adding a tiny bit of pepper. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the ash falls off in a solid chunk and the performance is consistent. Ending at the hour mark with an inch remaining, it got too hot for my taste so I ended it. Showing no changes the whole cigar was a perfect performer with a very consistent blend all the way through.
Thank you very much to General Cigar for providing this sample for review!
