La Herencia Cubana CORE Toro Cigar Review
This 6.5×52 box pressed stick features a very dark brown slightly mottled and toothy wrapper with a slick oily feel, even spongy pack, sloppy double cap and rich milk chocolate aroma. First light reveals a great draw with minimal smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of a bright zingy tobacco with a long earth and pepper finish. The first third develops much the same, burning slowly and taking down the core tobacco flavor just a bit. The 2nd third starts off big, bringing body up to medium-full with deep dark earthy tobacco flavors with a bit of sweetness and pepper still lingering through the long full finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point 55 minutes in, flavors lose the deep earth and much of the zing, only showing a bit of pepper through the finish now. Body is back down to medium and there’s just a hint of strength coming in at the end of the 2nd third. Ending at 1:45 the last third continued the same performance and flavor profile but ramped up the strength greatly to a medium-full giving me quite a rush and buzz! Thank you very much to viewer Kris McKinney for providing me this to review!
