Kinky Friedman Kinkycristo Cigar Review
This 6.25×54 belicoso features a very thin dry dark chocolate wrapper with small veins, tight seams, a crinkly firm pack and mild damp musty chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium-full body smoke giving flavors of a creamy textured, oily and smooth chocolate and earth with a long finish adding a touch of pepper and spice. The first third burns a bit unevenly and body goes down to mild-medium transitioning to a creamy leather. Coming at 40 minutes in, the 1/2 way point shows minor changes, evening out the burn and bringing back a bit of the deeper pepper flavors especially through the finish. Ending at the nub at 55 minutes, the last third showed no further changes and the wonky burn was self correcting. Thank you very much to viewer James Bellante for sending this sample in for review!
