CAO Concert Stage Cigar Review
This 5.5×60 stick features a very firm dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a slight tooth and oil sheen, minimal veins, tight seams, double cap and oily mild chocolate and earth aroma. First light reveals unfortunately a shoulder that completely separated, but it’s smoking ok. Flavors are a mild-medium slightly sweet grass with a long oily finish. The first third performs fine, showing the same flavor profile from the start, just continuing the plain mildish experience. The 2nd third hits the 1/2 way point 40 minutes in, dropping the ash in a solid chunk. Flavors remain unchanged. Ending at 1:15 the whole cigar proved to be very consistent. Thank you to General Cigar for providing this sample to me at the 2012 IPCPR show!
