Rocky Patel Gladiator Super Toro Cigar Review
This 6×60 partial box pressed stick features a dark chocolate wrapper with an oily leather texture and feel, minimal veins, tight seams, triple cap and an oily rich tobacco aroma. First light reveals a completely free draw, good medium bodied smoke output with sweet grassy tobacco taste and a short peppery finish. The first third runs just about the same, only bringing the body up a notch to medium-full. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, flavors are pushing full body, the grassiness has been replaced by a dry cocoa and the finish is quite long. Burn isn’t great but needs no touchups yet. 55 minutes in the burn gets terrible needing a big touchup. Flavors are just a muddied damp tobacco with a bad aftertaste. Ending at 1:15 the last bit continued to burn wonky and the flavors never recovered after the touchup, just giving a charred bitter tobacco and nasty aftertaste on the finish. Thank you very much to viewer Josh Silva for sending this sample in for review!
