Gurkha Legend Vintage 2001 Aniversario Cigar Review
This 6×60 perfecto features a thin dark chocolate mottled wrapper with an oil sheen, minimal veins, tight seams, light pack and a faint pepper and tobacco aroma. Both ends are pre clipped and first light reveals a snug draw, but perfectos will sometimes open up after a few minutes. Flavors are a medium bodied smooth dry tobacco with a big bitter finish. The first third burns fairly slowly even after clipping the head and doubling the precut opening. The draw itself is perfect after a cut, with plentiful smoke output and very mild dry tobacco flavors with a long finish of the same. The ash falls off quickly only holding 1/2 inch or so. The 2nd third develops to a creamy soft mild-medium nuttiness, with the same great smooth smoke production and long finish, showing the tobacco taste only at the very end. The last third began 40 minutes in with no changes, just perfect construction and longer ash drops through the thicker sections. Ending at 55 minutes the last bit was equally consistent. Thank you very much to viewer Terence Glynn for sending this in for review!
