Romeo y Julieta Romeo Toro Cigar Review
This 6×54 cigar features a soft dark brown wrapper with an even firm pack, fine sandpaper feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and rich sweet cedar aroma. First light revealsa very good draw with thick smoke giving a medium body of pepper, cedar and earth with a long finish. The first third lightens up on body a bit and the finish becomes shorter, just keeping a bit of pepper and earth. Draw flavors are dominated by a heavy sweet cedar. 30 minutes in starting the 2nd third, flavors shift a bit dropping the sweetness and heavy cedar flavor, replaced by a nuttiness and general wood note, with a bit of lingering soft pepper on the finish. 1 hour in starting the last third flavors shift again giving a creamy flavor mixing with the core of nuttiness and a slight earth and pepper. Construction is still near perfect and the burn is slowing. The last third holds the same flavor profile just going a bit warmer for the duration, ending at 1:25. Thank you very much to Altadis for sending this for review!
