La Reloba Seleccion Mexico Toro Cigar Review
This 6.2×52 cigar features a dry slightly toothy firm wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, very even roll and rich chocolate and wood aroma. First light reveals foot smoke that smells like pot, a perfect draw with tons of rich full bodied smoke giving flavors of a silky smooth dry peppery tobacco with a long finish. The first third goes fairly quickly, dropping most of the pepper but keeping all the other rich flavor and smoothness. Burn and draw are perfect with plentiful rich oily smoke output. 25 minutes in just starting the 2nd third the ash drops off in a solid chunk. Flavors are joined by a almost gritty, dry deep chocolate that almost has an earthy component, mixing very well with the oily smooth tobacco and wood. 55 minutes in starting the last third, flavors remain the same but strength is coming up just a bit giving a slight head rush. Performance is still perfect, dropping the 2nd third in a solid ash. Ending at 1:10 the last bit showed no further changes. Thank you very much to the Hemry brothers, Brian & Brandon for sending this for review!
