United Maduro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark brown, densely packed thin toothy wrapper with a slight oil sheen, large double cap and faint hat aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing a deep hay and slight plum, with a long smooth finish that adds a layer of pepper just before the next draw and a smooth retro. The first third burns very quickly but evenly, with notes still near full bodied of the plum and hay with the addition of a deep smooth leather to the mix. The 1/2 way point comes at a fast 25 minutes, the last third continues the perfect performance with flavors shifting at the band to a medium-full very soft, dusty cocoa, dropping the leather and sweetness, with a deeper earth coming through the finish. Ending at 1 hour the last 1/2 burned slower to the hot nub.
