Diamond Crown Maximus #5 Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features an almost black, very firmly packed dense wrapper with a slightly oily fine tooth, triple cap and pungent damp, prune and hay aroma. First light reveals a medium-full bodied smoke with exceptionally smooth mouthfeel but with a distinct popping sweet texture over a dry coffee and hay combo with a long finish of the same. The first third burns perfectly, down a tick to a solid medium with flavors still complex and mostly unchanged. Just the texture dialing things down a bit but all the rest of the notes still pouring out. Ending at 1:10 to the hot nub, the whole stick was very complex and consistent holding my interest with every puff.
