Montecristo Epic Vintage 12 Blue Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark cocoa, dense, firmly packed buttery soft oily wrapper with a large triple cap and rich dark cocoa aroma. First light reveals a bit of a snug draw but good thick mild-medium smoke output showing flavors of a straight sweet cocoa and little pepper zing just on the finish. The first third develops a crack and swelling, giving a whispy smoke and tough draw to get anything out of. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes after getting past the plug and split, relighting gives a medium body of a smooth nuttiness, slight coffee and diminished coca with the pepper now gone. The final third ends at 1:35 with a slow burn and no further changes.
