DT&T Muestra De Saka Krakatoa Cigar Review – This 6×48 stick features an extremely oily, fine toothed satin dark chocolate wrapper with a firm even pack, double pigtailed cap and rich musty sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw putting out large volumes of smooth medium bodied smoke showing notes of a deep earth, peppercorn and zing on the long finish of the same. The first third drops a 1″ ash, burn is slightly fast with perfect draw and smoke output. Notes are largely unchanged with just the addition of a umami to the mix. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with a slightly slower burn, dropping the meatiness and replacing it with a dry cocoa, mixing with all the other notes still with a long full finish. Ending at 1:05 the last third burned even slower, with a strength slowly creeping in about even with body, both medium at this point, with flavors unchanged to the nub.
