5 Boroughs Bowery Gordo Cigar Review – This 6×60 stick features a dark chocolate, light, firmly packed oily finely toothed wrapper with a large triple cap and sweet smokey pepper aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with plentiful rich medium-full bodied smoke with notes of a vanilla laced smooth earth with a building pepper tingle through the long finish. Smoke is quite airy and slick. The first third burns perfectly but quite quickly, with a razor sharp line and flavors going to a musty vanilla and cayenne all with a long spicy finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with a solid ash and no flavor changes. Ending at 55 minutes the last third slowed the burn just slightly with notes still unchanged and perfect performance to the nub.
