Cuba Aliados Cabinet Edition Torpedo Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark brown, rock hard packed dry wrapper with a faint sweet cocoa and pepper aroma. First light revels a very good draw with plentiful mild-medium bodied smoke with a deceptively heavy long finish showing a roasted nut and building deep pepper to the next draw and slight burn on the retro. The first third burns perfect and quite slowly, just amping up the notes to a solid medium with a bolder longer finish of the same. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flavors changing to a semi-sweet hazelnut and coffee, with the pepper dying down through the still long finish, with perfect construction. Ending at 1:20 the last third continued the flawless construction, tight ash, slow burn with notes remaining the same to the hot nub.
