Yep this was already done early this year and I totally missed it when choosing it to smoke and review! Of course I only noticed here AT PUBLISHING lol! Oh well, it’s a good look at how taste and performance can vary a little bit!

Caldwell Long Live the Queen Queens Court Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×52 stick features a dark brown satin feeling firmly packed dry wrapper with a triple cap and faint cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied complex notes of warm spicy retrohale and core flavors of a faint coca and dark wood with a pepper flavor without texture at the root. The first third burns flawlessly holding a 1.5″ ash chunk with notes up to medium-full shifting to a slightly oily dark fruit and not mix with a growing deep cocoa through the long finish holding most of the pepper flavor. Ending at 50 minutes the last 1/2 shifted to a leather, deep caramel and keeps the fruity nuttiness while the pepper drops off completely.
