Rock-A-Feller Nicaragua Maduro Lancero Cigar Review – This 7×38 stick features an almost jet black wrapper with thick, toothy, oily feel, pigtailed cap and pungent black licorice aroma. First light reveals a plugged draw with virtually no smoke or flavor, with the wrapper cracking at just the slightest touch. The first third opens the draw, after removing the constricting band. However the wrapper is continuing to crack at various spots, still putting off almost no flavor. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with a better draw as it burns down, a mild-medium notes of a sweet vanilla and light leather, but short finish. 1 hour in at the start of the final third it finally wakes up, with a medium body, vanilla and light leather also joined by a gingerbread and spice that all holds through the now long finish, ending at 1:25.
