Foreign Affair Toro Extra By Luciano Cigar Review – This 6 1/2×52 stick features a dark chocolate, light feeling buttery smooth silky wrapper with a slightly soft even pack, large double cap and peppery, cocoa and tobacco aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with mild-medium notes of a very dry wood and big pepper blast through the long finish. The first third opens the draw slightly, body is up to a medium with the pepper dying way down, just leaving the dry woodiness all the way to the next puff. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 50 minutes with notes shifting to a dark caramel sweetness, dark roast coffee and the dry cedar, joined by the slight pepper and spice on the long finish of the same, with the burn faster now that the draw improved to normal. Ending at 1:10 the last third dropped the cedar going to a dark coffee and caramel while the pepper remained only on the long finish, with a perfect draw and burn to the nub.
