H. Upmann Herman’s Batch Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a pigtailed triple cap, slightly oily fine toothed wrapper and rich, musty sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a medium-full body of a rich deep earth and cocoa while a zippy pepper joins in from the first of the draw. The first third drops most of the deep earth going to a smoother slightly sweet cocoa at the core with a pepper and spice joining in for a zingy heat and dessert like combo. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with a slow burn, dropping the spice going to a medium bodied cherry cordial with the chocolate taking a creamy note. Ending at 1:35 the last third burned perfectly to the nub with no changes.
