La Gloria Cubana 8th Street Cigar Review – This 6×50 stick features a dark chocolate, firmly packed, oily, toothy wrapper with a triple cap and rich pungent musty cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a musty, dry cocoa with a building pepper and spice kick on the long finish. The first third burns perfectly with flavors shifting to a slightly sweet nougat and coca with a leather and mellowed pepper and spice on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flawless construction and no changes. Ending at 1:15 the last third added a good strength kick, with notes mellowing to a dry cocoa and wood note, with an earthy finish.
