Casa Cuevas Sangre Nueva Robusto Cigar Review – This 4.75×52 stick features a dark, dusty brown wrapper with a fine sandy tooth, satin feel, large double cap and pungent campfire aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke showing notes of a lighter fire cured taste with a vanilla and building zip & zing through the long growing finish. The first third comes up to medium-full with the fire cured taste going to the background while the vanilla comes up with a dark roast coffee, which joins the spice and zing on the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes continuing the perfect burn with just the spice mellowing out on the finish and the ash holding solid. The last bit finishes at 1:10 minutes with notes largely the same but the burn slowing even further, still with perfect construction.
