Atabey Spiritus Cigar Review – This 7.5×40 stick features a satin, finely toothed, firmly packed but light dark tan wrapper with a triple pigtailed cap and rich sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with almost chewy medium bodied smoke showing a dense woody note with short finish and touch of pepper. The first third gets very slightly more open with body up a tick to medium-full with a long finish. Flavors are largely the same with a nuttiness and dark oaky bourbon. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flavors finally changing quite a bit to a sweet, syrupy, smooth dark oak with a touch of pepper, all through the long finish. Ending at 1:15 the last third dropped the sweetness and added a medium strength punch.
