Perla Del Mar Shade Toro Cigar Review – This 6.25×54 box pressed stick features a slightly soft, even packed dark tan wrapper with a glove soft feel, light weight, triple cap and pungent sweet tobacco, leather and licorice aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a heavy deep earth with a touch of natural sweetness and small pepper and spice joining the finish. Retro is smooth as is the smoke texture. The first third mellows the pepper and spice a tick while the sweetness gets a little syrupy and candy like. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flawless construction and a consistent collection of flavors. Ending at 1:20 the last third burned slowly without issue, with notes still the same.
