Balmoral Serie Signaturas Paso Doble Gran Toro Cigar Review – This 6.25×54 stick features a dark chocolate slight soft satin wrapper with a triple cap and musty damp cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick medium bodied smoke showing a dry oaky core flavor with a touch of vanilla and a slick, smooth texture. The finish goes to a building pepper texture and yeasty bread. The first third smokes on the fast side but puts out complex flavors of a smooth light leather, burned caramel, yeasty bread and touch of wood, with just a touch of the pepper joining the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at a slower 40 minutes with a much slower burn and all the same complex flavors. Ending at 1:20 the last third mellowed to a mild-medium body with flavors shifting to a soft zesty wood and warm caramel through the finish, dropping the pepper.
