This 5.5×50 sharp box pressed stick features an oily toothy firmly packed thick wrapper with a triple cap and peppery, must cocoa aroma. First light reveals a plugged draw that required significant work to pull out a huge vein. After that flavors were medium-full with a big cocoa and vanilla on the draw followed by a late spice washing over the tongue. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with the vanilla dropping, a deep earth joining the cocoa which is now dry without the sweetness. The finish is oily and still spicy, leaving heat on the lips. Ending at 55 minutes the last third burned slower, keeping the same profile.
