Cohiba Piramides Extra Cigar Review – Cuban – This 6.3×54 stick features a torpedo roll with a dark tan wrapper with a soft but even pack, soft buttery feel, small veins, tight invisible seams and a sweet hay and vegetal aroma. First light reveals a great draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke showing aged tobacco smoothness, a creamy sweet vanilla note and building pepper flavor and zing through the long finish. The first third comes down to mild-medium with a wavy burn line but still perfect draw. Flavors are still smooth and complex with a yeasty bread note added throughout. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with no changes and a solid ash drop. Ending at 1:05 the last third adds to the complexity with a zingy leather with a cinnamon like texture, keeping the rest of the flavors.
