Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 sharp box pressed stick features a firmly packed dense oily, toothy wrapper with a dark cocoa tone, large double cap and pungent fire cured and damp hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick full bodied smoke with a rich deep sweet earth, slight cocoa, pepper and building spice on the finish and a yeasty bread note growing on the draw. The first third burns perfectly continuing the full bodied complex blend adding a creamy texture and taste which helps balance the heavy notes. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with the body down to medium-full but the flavors just as rich and complex with perfect construction. Ending at 1:20 the last third brought in a medium strength, holding all the complex notes and perfect burn to the hot nub.
