La Palina Bronze Label TAA Toro Cigar Review – This 6.5×52 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper with a slightly oily feel, fine tooth, large double cap and faint cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with voluminous medium-full smoke with notes of a slick smooth cocoa and building pepper and spice through the long finish with a slight kick on the retro. The first third keeps the same flavors but adds a distinctive musty licorice especially through the finish. Burn is good, liking a quick double puff for great smoke production. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with a better burn, still pouring off smooth smoke with the same rich notes. Ending at 1:20 the last third burned even slower with flavors largely the same just dialing back the pepper, dropping the licorice and continuing to get smoother.
