Villiger 1888 Robusto Cigar Review – This 4 7/8×50 stick features a dark brown slightly oily paper bag textured thin wrapper with a double cap and smokey hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied flavors of a dry, parched deep wood with a punch of spice through the building finish. The first third burns flawlessly, up to a medium-full body with notes of a slightly vegetal, almost mint coffee, with a growing pepper and spice through the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes shifting to a medium body with a creamy smooth leather and coffee mix joined by the same pepper and spice on the still long full finish. Ash drops in a solid chunk and burn is perfect. Ending at 1 hour the last third kept the flavors and added a big strength kick past the band.
