Altar Q by Oscar Valladares Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark brown firmly packed buttery soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple pigtailed cap and pungent coca and manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with gritty medium bodied smoke showing notes of a deep peppery cedar with a long finish. The first third burns well and fairly slow, pouring out smoke with the same flavors. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 45 minutes with perfect construction. Flavors shift slightly to a deep oakiness and dark caramel followed by the same lingering pepper with no bite. Ending at 1:25 the last third remained consistent.
