Southern Classic Cigars Private Label Connecticut Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark tan firmly packed wrapper with a satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and damp tea and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with a dry medium bodied cedar note on the draw with a slight metallic zing and oil left on the long finish. The first third quickly shifts to a smoother cedar and vanilla on the draw followed by a building pepper and zing on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes dropping a solid ash with perfect construction. Flavors shift again to a very slight vanilla that goes to a generic sweetness on the finish with a still strong cedar core. A toasted bread note joins in as well carrying through most of the finish. Ending at 50 minutes the last third showed no changes.
