CAO Arcana Mortal Coil Toro Cigar Review – This 6.1×50 stick features a rich dark cocoa firmly packed oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and pungent raisin and chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful full bodied smoke of a slight chocolate and big deep earth quickly followed by a touch of pepper and big building cayenne heat and oil over the lips and tongue. The first third comes down a tick to medium-full adding complexity with a sweet cocoa, deep earth and apricot on the draw while the finish brings the pepper up slightly and spice down. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 40 minutes with notes dropping the apricot replacing it with a dark roast coffee that stick around on the finish. Body is down to medium and construction is flawless with a solid ash. Ending at 1:30 the last third remains medium bodied dropping the sweetness and cocoa sticking with a dark coffee and earth through the finish. A good bit of strength joins in at the nub.
