Havana Q Double Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick by J.C. Newman features a dark brown, firmly packed, dry and extremely toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and a cocoa plumb aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with ok smoke output showing a mild-medium fairly soft smoke with just slightly sweet cedar notes on the draw and short finish. The first third wakes up nicely with a double puff with a slightly looser draw and normal smoke production. Flavors morph to a musty coffee cake building through the longer finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes burning very well holding a solid ash. Flavors are largely the same just dropping the mustiness and adding a spice to the now long finish. Ending at 1:20 the last third moved to a sweet coffee with a light earth finish.
