E.P. Carrillo Pledge Prequel Cigar Review – This 5×50 soft box pressed stick features a mottle dark cocoa wrapper with a firm even pack, toothy oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, dense pack, large double cap and rich cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick chewy full bodied smoke showing a sweet, slightly cherry coca and hay with a touch of pepper and spice on the long finish with a smooth retro. The first third goes to a medium-full keeping the same profile with a perfect slow burn. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with notes shifting slightly dropping some of the sweetness especially on the finish while the cocoa goes from milk chocolate to dark also through the finish. Keeping the hint of pepper and spice there’s also a dark roast coffee coming through. Ending at 1 hour the last third drops all the sweetness going to a dark coca and coffee all the way through with a hint of strength at the warm end. This video is sponsored by CigarAndPipes.com
