Cuban Montecristo Petit Tubos Cigar Review – This 5×42 stick features a slightly red hued dark brown wrapper with a firm even pack, slight tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and slight wet cedar aroma. First light reveals a good draw with medium bodied smoke showing a smooth oily deep earth with pepper flavor but no texture through the long finish. The first half burns perfectly but quickly going in just 20 minutes. Flavors transition to a peppery banana bread, with a slick oily on the lips. The last half finishes at 40 minutes to the hot nub with notes shifting to a black coffee and slightly diminished earth, both lasting through the finish with now just a hint of pepper on the tail end.
