Montecristo White Series Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark tan, slightly oily satin wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and peppery oak aroma. First light reveals a plugged draw from a huge stem that needed removal and correction with a PerfecDraw before producing medium bodied smoke of a neutral wood and light earth. The first third after correction is a medium-full keeping the same profile but with an oily creamy quality to the smoke and just a hint of pepper on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes down to a mild-medium body and the same flavors. Ending at 1:20 minutes where the nub got too hot, flavors were still unchanged but the burn was extremely slow as it burned down. Body is up to a solid medium and burn was very good.
