Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan Cigar Review – This 5.9×54 stick features a dark brown firmly packed butter soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint barn aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing a smooth, floral sweet wood with a zingy building pepper through the long finish. The first third shifts a bit keeping the floral sweetness, adding a graham cracker that stays through some of the finish as well. The smoke is light and silky smooth but still medium-full bodied with a long finish adding the pepper later. The 2nd third burns perfectly dropping a solid chunk of ash, down to a medium body holding the same notes. Ending at 1:10 the last third drops the sweetness going to a straight light earth on the draw and finish which still has just a smidge of pepper. This video is sponsored by MontefortunaCigars.com
