EP Carrillo Elite Seleccion Oscuro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a very firmly packed, oily toothy almost black wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint nutty raisin aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich, full bodied draw notes of a deep zingy earth through a fairly short finish that adds an oily spice to the mix. The first third continues the full rich smoke output with flavors of a neutral cocoa and bright cinnamon that continues to the spicy oily finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes dropping a solid ash chunk. Construction is flawless still with thick rich full bodied notes of a deep earth, bit of dark roast coffee coming in and a sweetness added to the cocoa. The finish is longer carrying some of the earth added to the spice and pepper. Ending at 1:20 the last third drops the pepper spice and cocoa, going to a n earthy coffee on the draw and just a medium earth though the whispy finish.
